‘Tell Me A Story’ Season 2 Trailer Puts a Dark Twist on More Fairy Tales!! Check It Out!!

A new season of “Tell Me A Story” is creeping upon us.

The trailer for Season 2 was released at New York Comic-Con Thursday, and it puts a dark twist on the three princesses of “Sleeping Beauty,” “Beauty and the Beast,” and “Cinderella.”

Premiering Dec. 5 on CBS All Access, the new 10-episode season features Natalie Alyn Lind (“The Gifted,” “The Goldbergs”) as pop star Ashley Rose Pruitt in a re-imagined version of “Beauty and the Beast.” Her career goes to pieces after a fiery explosion burns half of her face — which she then covers up with a mask, “Phantom of the Opera”-style. Watch the trailer below.

Paul Wesley (“The Vampire Diaries”) is returning for Season 2, this time starring as Tucker Reed, a struggling writer with insomnia and a creepy habit of watching people sleep in a revamped version of “Sleeping Beauty.”

Ashley Madekwe (“Salem,” “Revenge”) plays Simone Garland as a modern “Cinderella” with a disapproving step-family and a troubling attraction.

Other cast includes Carrie-Anne Moss (“The Matrix,” “Jessica Jones”) as Rebecca Pruitt, Odette Annable (“House,” “Supergirl”) as Maddie Pruitt, Eka Darville (“Jessica Jones”) as Beau Morris, and Matt Lauria (“Kingdom,” “Friday Night Lights”) as Jackson Pruitt. Danielle Campbell (“The Originals”) also returns in a recurring role as Olivia Moon, with other recurring roles including Garcelle Beauvais (“Spider-Man Homecoming”) as Veronica Garland, Caleb Castille (“Wu Tang: An American Saga”) as Ron, and Christopher Meyer (“The Affair”) as Derek.

The series is created by Kevin Williamson and hails from Aaron Kaplan’s Kapital Entertainment. Williamson writes and executive produces alongside Aaron Kaplan, Dana Honor and Michael Lohmann.
