As WandaVision enters its final act, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is poised to take the baton and continue the Marvel Cinematic Universe‘s next phase on Disney+.
A new promo to mark the start of the one-month countdown until the series premiere includes plenty of new footage, as Sam Wilson quotes Steve Rogers’ memorable speech in 2014’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Observing that the price of freedom is always high, Sam is prepared to keep the peace and defeat threats to liberty by paying the ultimate cost.

Expanding on footage seen in the Super Bowl trailer earlier this month, the new promo shows Sam and Bucky Barnes back in action against Baron Zemo and his forces around the globe.
Previous reports suggested that the on-screen action in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier would be on par, in terms of graphic content, with Netflix‘s Daredevil. These rumors were effectively debunked by a recent promo that confirms the upcoming series has the same content rating as WandaVision.
Directed by Kari Skogland, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier stars Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Emily VanCamp, Wyatt Russell, Noah Mills, Carl Lumbly and Daniel Brühl. The series premieres March 19 on Disney+.
