This film is not as bad as critics have been pointing out!The movie itself looks absolutely phenomenal, with amazing visual effects, an emotional and gripping musical score, and strong performances from Keanu and Hiroyuki Sanada, who portrays Oishi. The major problem that i saw with the movie was that, it drags at times it takes almost an hour for the actual plot to come up ( Run time being 120minutes) & despite being a Hollywood film, the direction is almost Japanese (Thats how its supposed to be!!) & the unusual ending may put some people off. Nevertheless if you are a fan of samurai based movies & dont mind a small fantasy twist.This is recommended!!!
