Synopsis – Akhil (Akshay Kumar) finds out that he is the heir of 3000 crore rupees as he and his mother were abandoned by his diamond baron father (Panna Laal Johari) who is now dead. However, his life goes Topsy-turvy when he learns that the empire goes to entertainment (a dog).
My Take – Akshay Kumar is probably the only actor who has been consistent in providing some hilarious mindless Laughton flicks & behold Entertainment follows the same route with insane one liners & hilarious idiotic situations.
But unfortunately after a entertaining 1st half the film slows down & moves to a familiar path of emotional drama & cliche comic sequences. Akshay Kumar as always is great in his “Loser” kind of role. Tamannah plays her part well. Prakash Raj & Sonu Sood as the antagonists get their moments to shine, but the screenplay is so dull by then you really don’t care anymore.
Its Johnny Lever & the hilarious filmi lines from Krushna which keeps the film afloat!! Writers Sajid – Farhad have been penning comedies for a while now, its no surprise they debuted this one! Overall Entertainment provides what its meant to, making this a one time watch!!
