Synopsis – A retired assassin is drawn back into the life he gave up when his daughter is kidnapped. To rescue her, he must confront his former rival.
My Take – This Taken hybrid with Jason Patric in the lead has some fun moments but falls deep into trouble due to poor execution & lack of surprises leading into a predictable mess.
Yes, Not Bruce Willis (about 4-5 scenes), nor John Cusack (in exactly 2 scenes) are the leading men of the movies, but instead are reduced to laughable excuse of a role, which clearly shows they did this movie as a favor or the pay check! The only enjoyable part of the movie are some of the enjoyable action scenes.
Overall The Prince is entirely unoriginal as it doesn’t show us anything we haven’t seen before. It’s generic and formulaic. Everything in this movie you’ve seen in other movies before it, only those movies did it better and they did it first. Uninspired would be the word. Forget this one!
