The Flash Season 1 Premiere Review!!

Synopsis – The adventures of scientist Barry Allen who is a superhero with incredible speed.

My Take – Finally!! I cant believe it!! The Flash finally gets some live action treatment!! Well it had a show in the early 80s, but I was born yet, So yes finally!!! Even tough I would have preferred a theatrical feature film instead, but I guess (or at least hope) people back at DC & WB know what they are doing. I guess after Green Lantern (Bad!) & Man Of Steel (Awesome! but not so well received), they didn’t want to risk another fail for a long running & much beloved character! Now before I talk more about the premiere, let me warn you, their are potential spoilers ahead!

Those who are fans of comic books, DC animation & awesome TV shows like Smallville & Arrow need no introduction to this characters, well they have clearly established as this as a spinoff from the very popular Arrow & Yes!! Oliver Queen/ Green Arrow makes a humble appearance.

Lets get to the point, yes this pilot is exactly what this beloved character deserves!! Well I would be happier with a movie, but the direction in which this show seems to be heading..Oh yea!! Yea it kinda does have the CW network feel to it as expected (All good looking people, mushy romance in the making etc) but its fine. Grant Gustin has pulled a character we have been imagining in live action for so long & if the rumors of the CW-DC network & WB-DC cinematic sharing the same universe is true!! Oh yes, it would be great to see Grant Gustin on the big screen.

The effects for a TV show are quite superior to what I have seen. Well I reserve the best part for the last, the amazing Easter eggs & hints to upcoming heroes & villains which Fanboys (Like me) will instantly recognize; Grodd, Reverse Flash, Vibe, Killer Frost, Wally West (Flash No 3)…&..Bruce Wayne..The Batman!!!..& a Justice League event Infinite Crisis…I have no words to describe how surprised I was to see that!! To sum it up..The Flash seem like a potential hit show..looking at how well Arrow worked..I’m sure this show will work big time!!
