With Superheroes coming out of book and slashing records at the box office, every film making company is trying hard to exploit the same. Paramount and Hasbro have already joined hands for the Transformers series, which grossed millions worldwide. Like “Transformers,” “G.I. Joe” is another product of Paramount and Hasbro which was successful but not quite to the extent of the former.

With growing competition among the super hero segment, Paramount and Hasbro are bracing themselves up to create something unique and special.

According to Hollywoodreporter, Paramount and Hasbro recently got themselves engaged in creating a universe comprising of “Transformers,” “G.I. Joe,” “Micronauts,” “M.A.S.K,” “Visionaries” and “ROM.” As interesting as it sounds, it will take some skill to merge all these in one single universe. However, with the success of “Avengers,” Paramount and Hasbro has some inspiration to hang on to.

Moreover just like Akiva Goldsman, who is reportedly heading a team of experienced writers for Transformers series, an identical team shall be working on this new project. Speaking while announcing the deal with Hasbro Paramount, Chairmen and CEO Brad Grey could not hide his excitement in concluding the deal and affirmed his commitment to create many more movies based on the Hasbro characters.

Meanwhile, Rob Carlson, who represented Hasbro, also sufficed regarding the deal and expressed Paramount’s assistance as necessary to develop an interconnecting universe for characters with vivid nature and stories.

According to Cinemablend, the interconnecting universe does not sound a good option as a result of different history and lack of connection. But there is still wee bit of optimism left as Paramount and Hasbro will bring together country’s top talent to write the script.

With Avengers already a huge hit, and DCU coming up with “Justice League,” there seems to be endless streak of Super hero interconnected movie, however, with Paramount trying something really unique, it could also turn out to be a huge gamble.
