Terminator: Emilia Clarke confirms she’s done with Sarah Connor!!

If a sequel still happens to Terminator Genisys, Emilia Clarke will not be in it, she confirms…

Whilst Arnold Schwarzenegger continues to suggest that a sequel to Terminator Genisys will still happen, it sounds ever less likely now, with the news that one of the film’s other stars is definitely walking away.

Emilia Clarke played Sarah Connor in the recent movie, and when she was asked by Coming Soon if she was returning for another Terminator feature, she said, outright, “No”.

“Can I say that?”, she added. “It’s okay. No. Uh-uh. But I have some very different roles coming up”.

She missed the chance to say ‘I won’t be back there’. Chortle.

We’d imagine that Clarke would have been hired for the full planned trilogy of Terminator movies at the time she signed up for the role of Sarah Connor, and so – this is speculation on our part – does this more broadly mean that the trilogy plan has now been abandoned? They could, of course, recast the role and have another Sarah Connor. But with the Terminator rights returning to James Cameron at the end of the decade (not that he has much time to do anything with them, thanks to his bevy of upcoming Avatar movies), we wonder if planned future sequels are running out of time anyway.
