Hannibal Buress has a tendency to draw attention, to put it lightly. As Lincoln on Broad City, he ably holds his own with heavyweights like Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobsen with an uncomplicated, galvanic ease. And he now looks to be in line to steal scenes from your friendly neighborhood web-slinger, as it was announced recently that Buress will be joining the cast of Jon Watts‘ anticipated Spider-Man: Homecoming, which stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker, the teenage who becomes the titular superhero. There’s no word yet as to who Buress will be playing in the film, which is not exactly surprising considering how enigmatic this project has remained over the last few months.

Buress is a great addition, but he’s not the only one. Last night, Variety announced that he will be joined by Beasts of No Nation breakout Abraham Attah, in another role that is being kept under lock and key. Attah nearly out-acted Idris freaking Elba in Beasts of No Nation, so he should give more than a little punch to the newest version of Marvel’s wall-crawler. Rumor is that Michael Keaton is being looked at to play famed villain Vulture in the film, but nothing is confirmed as of yet, and the film is otherwise stacked with talented character actors, from Logan Marshall-Green to Donald Glover to Little Men breakout Michael BarbieriMarisa Tomeiwill appear as Aunt May, and Robert Downey Jr. will touch down to provide some guidance as Tony Stark, AKA Iron Man, but hey, we’ve all probably already seen Captain America: Civil War and knew that. If the film is half as charming and entertaining as the Spider-Man action in that film, we’re in good shape for this one.
