By now you probably know that Universal Pictures is planning reboots of all of their classic monsters including Tom Cruise leading The Mummy, Russell Crowe as Doctor Henry Jekyll, Javier Bardem as Frankenstein’s Monster and Johnny Depp as The Invisible Man. But what we have all heard little to nothing about is if Luke Evans would be reprising his role as Vlad The Impaler who later becomes Dracula. While not successful in the states, Dracula Untold was a huge hit internationally and ended in present day which would allow some to assume that Evans’ Dracula could join the rest of the rebooted team. While promoting his latest film, The Girl On The Train, Evans was asked about his future role in the Universal Monsters franchise and told LRM.com that they have been talking about the universe and compared it to several Marvel films and their heroes.
