What a year it has been for Bollywood films, while some films such as Sultan, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil , Rustom, M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story & Airlift have been money spinners, major films such Fan, Rock On!! 2, Baar Baar Dekho, Wazir & Mohenjo Daro failed to live up to their expectations. Nevertheless, we cannot deny the fact that this year we got to see some fine range of performances from mega star Amitabh Bachchan who is brilliant turn as the worn out lawyer fighting for a cause to Sushant Singh Rajput as the Indian Cricket captain to Shah Rukh Khan shedding his stardom image to play an unconventional psychologist & an obsessed fan of himself. While, I do think mega star Salman Khan gave a hard hitting performance in Sultan, I decided to go for Randeep Hooda for his soulful performance & physical transformation in the poorly made Sarbjit. Oh I guess the same goes for Aamir Khan in the recently released Dangal.The below are in the my opinion the 5 best Bollywood performances (male) of the year :

2. Aamir Khan (Dangal)
3. Shah Rukh Khan (Fan, Dear Zindagi)
4. Randeep Hooda (Sarbjit)
5. Sushant Singh Rajput (M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story)
