‘Sooryavanshi’: Akshay Kumar Film To Have Ranveer Singh and Ajay Devgn Cameos!!

Akshay Kumar, the actor who played an upright and uproarious police officer in almost every film of his in the 90’s, is all set to play a cop again in Rohit Shetty’s next film, titled Sooryavanshi. Now, the news about his cameo in Ranveer Singh’s Simmba is not a suspense anymore, and the last shot of this Shetty directorial actually paves way to the beginning of a new chapter with a new hero. The interesting news here is that since both Devgn and Kumar made cameos in Singh’s film, it’s time for the actor to return the favor.

Well, this means we can see Devgn and Singh again as Bajirao Singham and Singh as Sangram Bhalerao in Kumar’s cop drama. Talking about the film, a source said, “Yes, Rohit Shetty will be directing Akshay Kumar next. Given Shetty’s recent track record at the box office it was obvious that other A-list actor would be lining up to sign him on as their director. The film will see Akshay Kumar playing the role of an ATS cop and is slated to go on floors in April next year with a release being slated for the last week of December. As of now the rest of the cast is yet to be locked.”

And when asked about the cameos of the aforementioned stars, it said, “In Simmba, Ajay Devgn made a special appearance in his Bajirao Singham avatar, while Ranveer Singh too played a cop. Now in Sooryavanshi, both Ranveer and Ajay will be making an appearance and it will not be surprising if they reprise their respective roles from Simmba and Singham.”

The film is touted to release on December 19, 2019!
