‘Transformers’ Producer Confirms ‘The Last Knight’ Sequel and ‘Bumblebee/Optimus Prime’ Buddy Film!!!

We’ve got a new update on the Transformers film franchise. One of the last things we heard is that Paramount Pictures was developing another “big Transformers” movie and that there was a possibility that Optimus Prime would show up in the Bumblebee sequel.

Well, producer Lorenzo Di Bonaventura has confirmed that the “big Transformers” movie will be a sequel to The Last Knight, which was such a terrible film on so many levels. But, he also confirmed that Optimus Prime will appear in the Bumblebee sequel, and Bumblebee was an awesome movie!

While talking to the Japanese outlet Cinema, Di Bonaventura said:

“We are already working on two projects and both have scripts under development. One is the latest in the main family series following the events of Transformers: The Last Knight and the other is a sequel to Bumblebee. So, we are thinking of films where Optimus Prime and Bumblebee will be the buddies, but when Optimus and Bumblebee are the movies of the protagonists … how human beings get involved in their drama In the first place, the size is different between human beings and their’s …. It’s a worrying point (laughs).”

While I really have no desire to see a sequel to The Last Knight, I am super stoked about the Bumblebee sequel! I just hope that Michael Bay won’t be back to direct anymore Transformers movies. He just needs to move on and make some actually good movies again!
