‘Avengers: Endgame’ Featurette Sees the OG Avengers Coming to Terms with a Post-Snap World!! Check It Out!!

Remember that long stretch of time where we didn’t even know the Avengers 4 title and there was nothing but radio silence from the Russo Brothers and Team Marvel? That time is dusted, my friends, and we are in the official lead-up blitz to Avengers: Endgame. Earlier today, the studio released a giant batch of character posters, using black-and-white and color to reveal a few heroes who got dusted (Shuri, nooooo) and a couple that survived (Happy Hogan still out here thirsting for vengeance). And if you’re still coming to terms with all that, so are the Undusted, as discussed in a new featurette.

The video features Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, and Marvel President Kevin Feige discussing the effects Thanos’ Infinity Gauntlet had not just on the world, but on anyone who survived. There’s nothing here you haven’t heard before—watching Bucky Barnes die was sad, you say?—but Chris Evans is just so gosh dang earnest it makes the whole thing worth it. Man, it’s going to be a bummer when Captain America totally dies.

Check out the video below. Avengers: Endgame—which also stars Josh Brolin, Brie Larson, Don Cheadle, Mark Ruffalo, and Paul Rudd—hits theaters on April 26.

Here is the official synopsis for Avengers: Endgame:

The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios’ grand conclusion to twenty-two films, “Avengers: Endgame.”

Kevin Feige produces “Avengers: Endgame,” and Anthony and Joe Russo are the directors. Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Michael Grillo, Trinh Tran, Jon Favreau, James Gunn and Stan Lee are the executive producers, and Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely wrote the screenplay.
