If you’re feeling stressed because you are trapped inside, be glad you’re not Rayshawn in the new Quibi series ‘#Freerayshawn’.
Directed by Antoine Fuqua, the man behind movies like The Equalizer, Training Day, and Olympus Has Fallen, we follow Rayshawn (Stephan James), an Iraq war veteran, but we open with him running from police officers. He finds refuge in his family’s house with wife and kid when he locks down the place. That’s when he meets the negotiator (Laurence Fishburne). Rayshawn professes not only his innocence but that the police set him up. He uses the internet to go viral and try to get the people behind him.
That’s a hell of a quarantine.
