The series premiere of DC’s Stargirl TV series is almost here, airing in a few weeks on The CW and the DC Universe streaming service.

The first episode of Stargirl will air May 18 on DC Universe, and then encores will be broadcast Tuesdays on The CW beginning May 19. Today, The CW released three new teaser trailers for the series which stars Brec Bassinger as Courtney Whitmore, a teen who finds out that she is a part of a legacy of super-heroes that has ties to her stepfather, Luke Wilson‘s Pat Dugan. The series comes from the co-creator of Courtney for Stars and S.T.R.I.P.E. comics, Geoff Johns, who first brought the character to TV a decade ago in Smallville’s “Absolute Justice” 2-parter.
