‘Thor: Love and Thunder’: Pom Klementieff’s Mantis Set to Join MCU Sequel!!

We recently found out that Chris Pratt was officially set to rejoin Chris Hemsworth in Thor: Love & Thunder, and it looks like Pom Klementieff is also set to reprise the role of Mantis.

The actress took to Instagram to reveal that she has landed in Sydney, Australia, where the Marvel threequel is currently shooting. That piece of info alone obviously wouldn’t confirm that she’d joined the cast, but director Taika Waititi‘s comment (“hurry up”) would appear to leave little doubt.

Does this mean we’re set for a full Asgardians of the Galaxy reunion? It would seem like a fairly safe bet given what we already know, but Love and Thunder was already shaping up to a jam-packed affair before any of the Guardians were confirmed, so we’ll just have to wait and see.

Waititi might just be trying to wind fans up here, but it seems highly unlikely. Expect one of the trades to confirm Klementieff has signed on to return as Mantis soon.

Thor: Love and Thunder will see Natalie Portman return as new God of Thunder Jane Foster, while Tessa Thompson will also reprise her role as Valkyrie. It was recently revealed that Christian Bale will portray the villainous Gorr the God Butcher, and it’s also been confirmed that director Taika Waititi will once again provide the voice of Korg.
