‘Justice League’: New Image from the Snyder Cut Sees Wonder Woman Battling Steppenwolf!! Check It Out!!

A new image from Zack Snyder‘s Justice League shows Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) battling Steppenwolf near the end of the Snyder Cut. It’s been more than three years since Justice League was released in theaters, but every Snyder fan is still waiting to see his true vision come to life. After starting the #ReleaseTheSnyderCut campaign in 2017, it was officially announced in 2020 that the Snyder Cut would be finished and released as a four-episode mini-series on HBO Max.

Long before the Snyder Cut was confirmed for an HBO Max release, Snyder continued to share images from his cut to tease the differences between his plans and what was shown in theaters. Fans have received a much better idea of what his Justice League will look like thanks to the trailers that have been released. But, the Snyder Cut has grown too, as Snyder completed quick reshoots that brought back several main cast members and even surprises like Jared Leto‘s Joker. Now following the release of Wonder Woman 1984, the latest Snyder Cut image shows her squaring off with Steppenwolf.

On Twitter, Fiona Zheng, one of the main supporters of the Snyder Cut movement, shared the new photo from Zack Snyder‘s Justice League today. This is part of a new #RestoreTheSnyderVerse campaign by Snyder‘s fans. The image appears to be from the third act of the Snyder Cut and shows Wonder Woman and Steppenwolf – with his new design – going head-to-head.

The release of this new photo coincides with the latest effort from Snyder‘s fans to see him finish his plans. Now that he’s finishing his version of Justice League and the Snyder Cut will be released, fans are now hoping for more. The new hashtag references fans’ desire to see Snyder‘s version of the DC Extended Universe return. He originally had a five-film plan revolving around Superman that included a Justice League trilogy. These plans expanded to include solo films for the main Justice League members. Now, many of Snyder‘s fans want to see the Snyder Cut be the beginning of WarnerMedia bringing the director back into the DC family to complete this story.

While it remains to be seen if the “SnyderVerse” will continue past Justice League, this new image is quite stunning. After years of seeing black and white images without finished CGI, this fully rendered moment of action shows just how close the Snyder Cut is to being finished. Snyder has already confirmed that Justice League will be released in March, but the exact release date and time are unknown yet. With 2021 right around the corner, there will surely be a lot more Justice League content from the Snyder Cut released soon.
