It’s being rumored that Jason Momoa has been offered the role of Knuckles in the upcoming Sonic The Hedgehog sequel. This report comes from The Illuminerdi, and they tend to be pretty spot on with their scoops.
There have all sorts of names thrown out there for Knuckles in the upcoming Sonic The Hedgehog movie. I’ve seen the likes of Dwayne Johnson mentioned, and also Jason Momoa.
Well, it sounds like Momoa has actually been offered the role for the sequel, which would be pretty cool if you ask me. It seems as though Sonic will be joined by both Knuckles and Tails in the sequel.
Here’s what The Illuminerdi had to say about Jason Momoa having been offered the role of Knuckles in the upcoming Sonic The Hedgehog sequel movie:
In our earlier report, we reported the character description for the Knuckles character in the sequel. He is going to stay true to his video game incarnation, and also “his personality will be serious in nature, but still gullible at times”. Since then, the production has been in search of an actor who befits the voice of Knuckles. We now know who has been given the offer to voice the Red Echidna.
The Illuminerdi can exclusively reveal that Jason Momoa has been officially offered the Knuckles role in Sonic the Hedgehog 2 by Paramount. Our sources indicate that the ball is in his court and that it’s up to him to decide at this point. We will wait and see if he takes the role.
