‘Farzi’: New Character Video Focuses on Shahid Kapoor’s Con Artist Sunny!! Check It Out!!

After keeping audiences waiting for a glimpse of the ‘artist’ Sunny from the upcoming crime thriller Farzi, Prime Video has finally dropped the character video, featuring Shahid Kapoor. In the sneak peek video, Sunny aka Artist is seen using his creative skills to create fake currency notes to lead a luxurious life.

The video also gives us a glimpse of Raashii Khanna, who notes that the artist’s work is admirable and he needs to be stopped before he penetrates the counterfeiting network.

Speaking about the series, Shahid Kapoor had earlier said, “Farzi will always have a special place in my heart as it is my digital debut. Working with the brilliant duo Raj & DK and great actors like Vijay Sethupathi, Amol Palekar and Kay Kay Menon has been an enriching experience. I challenged myself as an actor by accepting this layered character while my directors Raj & DK made the entire process a fun and smooth ride.“

He also mentioned, “With such eminent creators who developed The Family Man at the helm, you can be assured that Farzi will be a gripping crime drama that will keep viewers on the edge of their seats. And given Prime Video’s huge reach, I’m thrilled that fans across the world will be sucked into this murky world of Farzi.”

Farzi is an eight-episode crime thriller with Raj & DK‘s signature humour, told through the eyes of a clever underdog street artist attempting to thwart a system that favours the elite. The series will premiere on Prime Video on February 10 in India and more than 240 countries and territories.
