Bollywood Hungama was the first to inform that the first look poster of Karan Johar’s next Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani will be launched on his birthday on May 25. Returning to the director’s chair after seven years, the filmmaker finally unveiled the first look of the movie on May 25. The day is special as it is not only Karan‘s birthday but also marks his 25th year in the film industry. Starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles, Karan says the film is an ode to love in all its grandeur and beauty.
The first-look posters of Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt and the cast of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani have been unveiled. Describing Ranveer‘s character, Karan wrote, “An absolute ‘heartthrob’, who wears his own heart on his sleeve – meet Rocky!”
Talking about Alia Bhatt‘s character, he added, “Ladies & gentlemen, the queen is here to steal your hearts – meet Rani!”
He shared the couple poster of Ranveer and Alia and the chemistry looks electrifying.
A day ago, Karan Johar on Wednesday took to social media to share a video that had moments of love from movies like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, My Name Is Khan, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, Student Of The Year, and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. He wrote, “Nothing but gratitude for the magical 25 years I have spent in the director’s chair. I learnt, I grew, I wept, I laughed – I lived. And tomorrow, another piece of my heart will be yours to see and I could not be more ecstatic as I celebrate my birthday with you all. With a kahaani that has prem written all over it. The movie stars Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi. It will release on July 28 in theatres.
