‘Only Murders in the Building’ Season 4: New Video Confirms Wrap!! Check It Out!!

The fourth season of Only Murders in the Building is one step closer to arriving on television, with the team behind the successful Hulu series announcing that the new episodes have wrapped principal photography. Plot details regarding the next mystery Charles (Steve Martin), Oliver (Martin Short), and Mabel (Selena Gomez) will have to deal with are safely kept under wraps. The show was created for television by Steve Martin himself alongside John Hoffman, with the comedy becoming an instant hit among audiences upon release.

The announcement for the completion of filming for the fourth season of Only Murders in the Building came in the form of an Instagram video, where the three stars of the comedy could be seen celebrating getting the latest installment across the finish line. While we don’t know a ton of details about Season 4 yet, it was previously reported that the main trio will be leaving New York City for a bit, taking their detective skills to Los Angeles before coming back home. And as the series has done for previous seasons, notorious guest stars are expected to enter the gates of the Arconia for the new mystery.

As previously established at the end of Season 3, Sazz Pataki (Jane Lynch), the beloved stunt double who worked with Charles throughout his eccentric career, will be the victim this time around. Eugene Levy, Eva Longoria, and Zach Galifianakis are some of the guest stars who will join the main trio in the new episodes of Only Murders in the Building, as the team tries to figure out who took their friend’s life. Tensions will be running high in the upcoming installment of the show, with Meryl Streep, Michael Cyril Creighton, and Da’Vine Joy Randolph returning to their roles from previous seasons.

What to Expect From ‘Only Murders in the Building’ Season 4

Charles, Mabel, and Oliver are no strangers to their cases turning deeply personal. When the group first came together after the murder of Tim Kono (Julian Cihi), it was revealed that the victim had been a close friend of Mabel’s. Kono had been murdered by Jan (Amy Ryan), a woman who had fallen in love with Charles. With an unidentified killer taking out Sazz, there’s no doubt that the Arconia’s best citizen detectives will do everything in their power to get to the bottom of the mystery. Time will tell if Hollywood will be kind to Charles, Mabel, and Oliver as someone attempts to turn their true-crime podcast into a movie.

You can check out the official Instagram post from Only Murders in the Building above, before the series returns to Hulu on August 27. Seasons 1-3 are available to watch on the streamer right now.
