Fresh off the success of Sirf Ek Bandaa Kafi Hai, producer Asif Shaikh is ready to take audiences on a thrilling ride with his next project, Kasoor. This upcoming film promises a unique blend of genres – a musical romance intertwined with chilling horror elements.
Directed by Glen Barretto and penned by Mudassar Aziz, Kasoor boasts a captivating concept that will see Aftab Shivdasani take centre stage. Shaikh elaborated on the film’s distinctiveness, stating, “It’s a very unique concept—a musical romance horror. When Aftab heard the story, he was excited about the subject.”
Shaikh promises, “The audience will see Aftab Shivdasani in a very different role on the silver screen. It’s an author-backed role,” hinting at a character that will allow Shivdasani to showcase a new facet of his acting prowess.
Actress Urvashi Rautela will also be part of the cast. The announcement regarding the remaining lead roles is expected soon.
