
Starz has finally released the official Outlander: Blood of My Blood photos for its upcoming prequel series to the popular historical drama, which is still currently in production in Scotland. It is scheduled to make its debut sometime in 2025.

On the prequel front, Starz is sharing an early sneak peek of Claire’s and Jamie’s parents in the early 18th-century Scottish Highlands.

Who is in the Outlander: Blood of My Blood photos?
The photos provide fans with a first look at Claire Randall and Jamie Fraser’s parents, whose love stories will be the subject of the upcoming Outlander prequel. The photos feature Harriet Slater (Pennyworth) and Jamie Roy (Condor’s Nest) playing Jamie’s parents, Ellen MacKenzie and Brian Fraser, while Hermione Corfield (The Road Dance) and Jeremy Irvine (Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again) portray Claire’s parents Julia Moriston and Henry Beauchamp.
“The spin-off will tell two parallel love stories set in two different time periods: during the early 18th century Scottish Highlands and during World War II in England,” reads the logline.
Inspired by Diana Gabaldon’s best-selling novel series, Outlander: Blood of My Blood is written and executive produced by showrunner Matthew B. Roberts. Executive producers are Ronald D. Moore and Maril Davis, who developed the original series for television through their Tall Ship Productions. It hails from executive producer Story Mining & Supply Company and Sony Pictures Television, with Gabaldon also attached as a consulting producer.
