Oh what a year this has been for Hindi cinema! While last year saw many Hindi film going on record breaking runs, this year saw most big-ticket features fail to meet their expectations, with the exception of horror comedies, which ruled the box office. Along with them, the year saw some exceptionally beautiful stories striking a chord with the audience, particularly on streaming services that have become quite home for an eclectic mix of compelling narratives, new talent, and unique genres, all the while appealing to a wide array of viewers. Nevertheless, it cannot denied that in the midst of this recovery, it has become much more important than ever that Bollywood simply stop making bad movies. In my opinion, here are some of the worst films churned out by the Hindi film industry this year, both theatrically and on OTT:
