The reloaded version, which includes an additional 20 minutes of footage, will now be hitting cinemas on January 17, instead of the originally scheduled January 11.
The makers of the film made an official announcement regarding the delay, citing technical delays in processing the content as the reason for the postponement. A note shared by the production team reads, “ Due to technical delays in processing the content, the Reloaded version of Pushpa 2: The Rule is delayed. It will now screen in theaters from 12th January and not from 11th January as planned earlier.”
The note continued with a message of celebration and anticipation for the extended version: “Happy Sankranthi everyone. The extended version will be worth the wait with additional whistleworthy moments. The wildfire gets more fiery.”
