‘Towards Zero’: New Trailer Teases the New Agatha Christie Adaptation!! Check It Out!!

What makes a good murder mystery? Is it how it begins? How the murderer is finally pushed over the edge to kill? These questions and more will be answered in the latest Agatha Christie adaptation, Towards Zero, which now has a full trailer. Anjelica Huston (Ever After) and Matthew Rhys (The Americans) star in the three-episode limited series from BritBox. Christie‘s works have been adapted time and again over the last century and now Towards Zero will be a part of a three-day event. The first episode will drop on Wednesday April 16, Episode 2 will drop on Thursday April 17, and the final episode will drop on Friday April 18.

Huston and Rhys are joined by Oliver Jackson-Cohen (The Haunting of Hill House), Ella Lily Hyland (Black Doves), Mimi Keene (EastEnders), Anjana Vasan (Black Mirror), and Clarke Peters (The Man Who Fell to Earth) in the murder-mystery. Towards Zero is set in England in 1936 where British tennis star Neville Strange (Jackson-Cohen) and his new wife head to his aunt, Lady Tressilian’s (Huston) estate for the summer. The problem is that Neville’s ex-wife, whom he scandalously divorced, is also there. He and his ex-wife, Audrey (Hyland) now must mitigate rising tensions between them and Neville’s new wife Kay (Keene). Part of the logline describes Towards Zero as:

A troubled detective must rediscover his purpose to untangle a toxic web of jealousy, deceit and dysfunction. Can he solve the crime before another victim meets their death? An explosive love triangle, a formidable matriarch and a house party of enemies. All compelled… Towards Zero.
