The last time we saw Mickey Haller (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo), LA’s best defense attorney. The lawyer was led away in cuffs after an officer found the body of his client, Sam Scales (Christopher Thornton), in the trunk of his Lincoln convertible. Netflix’s The Lincoln Lawyer just added three more cast members, including another determined adversary for Mickey. After the arrival of NCIS alum Sasha Alexander as an FBI Agent, the legal drama expands its roster with Deadline reporting that Kyle Richards, Jason Butler Harner, and Scott Lawrence have joined The Lincoln Lawyer season 4 cast in guest roles.
Come the fourth season of the LA-based legal drama, Richards will play the role of Celeste, a character who shows up at Haller & Associates, hoping to hire Lorna (Becky Newton) as a divorce attorney. Harner will portray Drucker, a seasoned robbery homicide detective with years of investigation experience under his belt. Drucker will prove to be a determined adversary for Mickey. Finally, Lawrence, who is known for playing Commander Sturgis Turner in JAG, will portray Judge Stone, a former prosecutor known for his prickly attitude and tough sentencing. He is intimidating and impatient, but ultimately, his rulings seek to treat both sides equally. The new season has also added Constance Zimmer as Dana Berg, the prosecutor in charge of Mickey’s case, with Marcus Henderson and Gigi Zumbado joining the cast as well.
Created for television by David E. Kelley, The Lincoln Lawyer is based on the novels by Michael Connelly and follows Haller as he navigates high-profile cases from the back seat of his Lincoln Navigator. Season 3 proved to be a successful one for Netflix as it landed 7 million views within its first four days on the streamer. Season 4 is set to adapt The Law of Innocence, a beloved novel in the book series, with Dailyn Rodriguez and Ted Humphrey returning to co-run the legal thriller.
Who Is Returning for ‘The Lincoln Lawyer’ Season 4?
The returning cast for The Lincoln Lawyer Season 4 will include Neve Campbell, Jazz Raycole, and Angus Sampson, among others. One cast member who is likely not to return is Yaya DaCosta‘s Andrea Freeman. The character came on board in Season 2 and stayed on through Season 3, but is not expected to return for the coming season. DaCosta recently revealed she hadn’t expected to be cut from the story, neither did she receive any explanation. “Sometimes when things like this happen, the writers will give an explanation in a conversation between two characters who are on the show,” she said. “Or someone will make a phone call and pretend the disappeared character is on the other end. Who knows what they’ll do? I’m just focusing on the now and future.”
All three seasons of The Lincoln Lawyer are streaming now on Netflix.
