‘Alien: Earth’: New Teaser Unleashes More Monsters!! Check It Out!!

Earth just got a little more crowded thanks to the arrival of a new teaser for Alien: Earth. Putting their best foot forward to celebrate Alien day, FX has unveiled the latest peek at the upcoming series which is set to crash onto our TV screens this summer. If you thought one Xenomorph could do some damage, just wait and see how the planet fares after five monsters from the furthest reaches of space go completely ham. Starring Sugar’s Sydney Chandler, the series continues the tradition of following a female protagonist and pitting her against humanity’s deadliest adversary.

Nothing good can come from the cargo showcased in the latest Alien: Earth spot. Viewers are taken around the cargo hold of a doomed vessel, where we see the silhouettes of creepy-crawly critters in their illuminated cages. Meanwhile, a voiceover can be heard explaining that the ship contains “five different lifeforms from the darkest corners of the universe — each one a unique, deadly species.” While the trapped creatures are making plenty of noise from inside their pens, the camera cuts to the corner of the room where a Xenomorph launches itself full steam ahead at the camera before the sequence cuts out.

Alien: Earth celebrates two big steps forward for the beloved franchise, marking the first time the characters have made it onto television screens in live-action form as well as the only time that the fight has been brought onto our home turf (Earth). With Noah Hawley serving as the writer, director, and creator, we’d expect nothing but the most groundbreaking reimagining of the beloved IP to come from the creative behind FX’s anthology series Fargo and the gone-too-soon Marvel series Legion.

What Is ‘Alien: Earth’ About?

Set in the not-so-distant-year of 2120, chaos and confusion abound after a mysterious spaceship crashes on Earth. Handed down orders from her superior, a young woman (Chandler) must lead a group of soldiers to the downed craft on a search and rescue mission. While combing the area for survivors, the crew stumbles upon a life form much different from what they were expecting to find. Before they know it, they’re face-to-face with the world’s biggest threat and the only thing standing in the way of a total takeover. In addition to Chandler, Alien: Earth will also feature performances from Timothy Olyphant, Essie Davis, Alex Lawther, Babou Ceesay, Samuel Blenkin, Jonathan Ajayi, Moe Bar-El, David Rysdahl, and Adrian Edmondson.

Check out the teaser above and stay tuned to Collider for more information about Alien: Earth, which will debut in Summer 2025.
