‘Superman’ Reveals New Clark Kent and Krypto Image!! Check It Out!!

One of the most anticipated superhero movies of the year just got a thrilling new look. ScreenRant has officially released a new image from Superman, the debut DCU film from writer/director James Gunn that’s due in theaters on July 11. The new image shows David Corenswet’s Man of Steel standing in the Fortress of Solitude with Krypto and one of the robots who inhabit the fortress and help care for Superman. In the film’s timeline, this image likely comes not long after the recently released sneak peek that played ahead of A Minecraft Movie, which saw Superman return to the Fortress of Solitude to heal. Not that we had any reason to be worried about the Kryptonian hero, but he seems to be feeling much better in the newly-released image.

Collider debuted its own exclusive look at Superman during the Exclusive Movie Preview Event, which also included new images from some of the summer’s biggest blockbusters like Jurassic World Rebirth, How to Train Your Dragon, and 28 Years Later. Once James Gunn took over as the new creative head at DC more than two years ago, Superman was one of the first projects he announced. For so long, Superman seemed more like a concept than something that was going to come to fruition, but as we close in on the July 11 release date, the movie couldn’t be more real. Fans had grown weary of Zack Snyder’s darker take on the DCEU in movies like Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice and Zack Snyder’s Justice League, but now it seems like Gunn is ready to deliver a more hopeful take on the character and universe.

The first DCU project on the slate after Superman is Peacemaker Season 2, which will be released on August 21. Max released the first official trailer for Peacemaker Season 2 this afternoon, and it features the first look at John Cena’s return to action as Christopher Smith. There are a few other DCU projects in either development or production that already have release dates, including Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, which will be released on June 26, 2026. Clayface is also coming out a few months later, on September 11, 2026. Lanterns is currently in production, and while lacking an official release date on Max, it’s expected to drop sometime next year as well.

Superman soars into theaters on July 11.
