ZEE5 has unveiled the first look of its much-anticipated original thriller series, Chhal Kapat: The Deception, promising a gripping tale of secrets, lies, and unravelling friendships. Set against the picturesque yet shadowy backdrop of a wedding in Burhanpur, the series starts on a celebratory note but swiftly descends into chaos when one of the bride’s closest friends is found dead under mysterious circumstances.
What begins as a festive gathering turn into a chilling murder mystery, shaking the very foundation of long-standing friendships. Hidden grudges, personal vendettas, and long-buried secrets come to the surface, as the once-intimate atmosphere spirals into suspicion and betrayal.
Directed by Ajay Bhuyan and produced by Juggernaut Production, Chhal Kapat: The Deception boasts a strong cast that includes Kamya Ahlawat, Ragini Dwivedi, Tuhina Das, Yahhve Sharma, Pranay Pachauri, Smaran Sahu, and Anuj Sachdeva.
