‘The Morning Show’ Season 4 Gets First Images!! Check It Out!!

It’s been a long hiatus, but the wait for Season 4 of The Morning Show is almost over. Today, Apple TV+ finally revealed when the new episodes are coming. Keeping up with its fall tradition, the drama is returning on September 17. Along with the release date, the streamer also unveiled some first-look images that tease the events of the upcoming season. Season 4 of The Morning Show will be as tense as ever. This time, the series will tackle themes like deepfakes, conspiracy theories, and corporate cover-ups, as well as how all of those concepts converge with journalism. Alex Levy (Jennifer Aniston) and Bradley Jackson (Reese Witherspoon) will also have to deal with two major events: the aftermath of the UBA-NBN merger — which completely changes the atmosphere of the newsroom into a less transparent environment — and the bigger picture of a polarized America, which makes the concept of “truth” become elusive at best.

The slate of new images provides a look at pretty much every character that’s debuting or returning in Season 4. Fans of the series are understandably curious to find out where the characters are psychologically and how the series will tackle the 2024 elections. Earlier this year, showrunner Charlotte Stoudt spoke about the new season and indicated that they had to find an approach that wouldn’t feel like viewers were watching CNN. The new episodes will take place two years after the events of Season 3, and Aniston called them “jam-packed.” You can check out the cast photos below.

Who Is in ‘The Morning Show’ Season 4?

Aside from Aniston and Witherspoon, the star-studded cast of The Morning Show Season 4 also features Billy Crudup (Hello Tomorrow!), Karen Pittman (Forever), Nicole Beharie (Love, Brooklyn), Nestor Carbonell (Shōgun), Mark Duplass (The Creep Tapes), Greta Lee (Past Lives), Marion Cotillard (Lee), Jeremy Irons (The Beekeeper), Aaron Pierre (Rebel Ridge), William Jackson Harper (Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania), Boyd Holbrook (A Complete Unknown), and Jon Hamm (Your Friends & Neighbors).

Season 3 was a game-changing installment for The Morning Show. It became the show’s highest-rated season to date at Rotten Tomatoes and earned 16 nominations at the Emmys. Crudup won the Best Supporting Actor award at the Emmys and at the Critics’ Choice Awards, and the series was selected as one of the best of the year in 2023. This means that Season 4 has some huge expectations to fill, but the cast is bound to make it worth the wait.

Apple TV+ premieres The Morning Show on September 17. The remaining nine episodes will roll out weekly on Fridays through November 19.
