‘Ironheart’ Trailer Has Riri Williams Suit Up!! Check It Out!!

Marvel Studios has fans everywhere looking forward to the release of The Fantastic Four: First Steps next month, but there’s another project coming even sooner that just debuted a new trailer. Marvel has finally debuted the official trailer for Ironheart, which is coming to Disney+ on June 24. The trailer even pays homage to the first Iron Man movie starring Robert Downey Jr. by opening with Dominque Thorne’s Riri Williams banging a hammer on a table, just like Tony Stark did when he built his first suit in the cave. Downey Jr. may not have a role in Ironheart, but star Dominique Thorne revealed a few weeks ago that he did give the show his blessing, and that he’s looking forward to watching it.

Also set to star in Ironheart is Anthony Ramos, who will play the villainous Hood. Ramos’ character specializes in magic and sorcery, which will certainly leave Riri Williams a bit out of her element as she’s likely never faced a foe capable of rendering her advanced technology obsolete. Ironheart will be the fifth MCU project to release this year, and the third series to air on Disney+. Marvel Studios kicked off the year in streaming with Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, the animated series that even featured a cameo from Charlie Cox as Daredevil. The second Disney+ project of 2025, Daredevil: Born Again, saw Cox return to the screen alongside Jon Bernthal,Vincent D’Onofrio, and more. Marvel began the year in film with Captain America: Brave New World and followed it up with Thunderbolts*. F4 will be the final Marvel movie of the year.

Is Mephisto in ‘Ironheart’?

Mephisto is not currently confirmed to star in Ironheart, and none of the previous trailers or promotional material have alluded to his presence. However, in Marvel Comics, The Hood gets his powers from Mephisto and even carries out his wishes at times, which has helped pour fuel on the fire that he will have a role to play in the series. Mephisto has become one of the MCU’s longest-running jokes after fans over-analyzed and assumed every meaningless WandaVision clue meant his arrival was imminent. Once he does finally debut in the MCU, it’s going to be a monumental moment for the fan base.

Ironheart premieres on Disney+ on June 24.
