‘The Morning Show’ Season 4 Teaser Has Jennifer Aniston Seeking Truth!! Check It Out!!

With just two months until the premiere of The Morning Show, it’s finally time to start getting hyped up for the newest season of the hit series. Today, Apple TV+ unveiled a teaser trailer for Season 4, and it showcases all the major players of the next installment of the show. The release date is set for September 17, and once again Jennifer Aniston (Friends) and Reese Witherspoon (Big Little Lies) return as two cutthroat journalists who both shape and are impacted by the culture of a fast-moving newsroom.

The teaser trailer doesn’t reveal much in terms of story, and also provides no sneak peek of the scenes that we’re about to witness in Season 4. Instead, it focuses on the intrigue and how the show will continue to be a war in which the weapons are narratives, manipulation, moral conflict, and bottom lines. The concept is pretty simple: Alex Levy (Aniston) and Bradley Jackson (Witherspoon) are marching towards each other to meet in the middle and, while they walk, a parade of people who want something from them are shown as their reflections.

You can get philosophical and think that the reflections imply that all those people are facets that Alex and Bradley choose to ignore within themselves, but the trailer also works as a demonstration of the people that they will have to deal with this season and how demanding they can be. And there’s plenty of potential for drama — this is the season that will cover the aftermath of the 2024 elections, deepfakes, and the rise of AI.

‘The Morning Show’ Season 4 Will Get Political

Once again, The Morning Show is helmed by showrunner Charlotte Stoudt. The writer probably had to navigate some delicate themes when deciding what to factor in this season, because the real world has been offering nonstop content that defies journalism on a daily basis. Earlier this year, Aniston commented that this season was “challenging” and “so hard” to do, but that it turned out “great.”

Aside from Aniston and Witherspoon, the cast of The Morning Show also features William Jackson Harper (Midsommar), Greta Lee (Past Lives), Mark Duplass (Good American Family), Nicole Beharie (Love, Brooklyn), Marion Cotillard (The Ice Tower), Jon Hamm (Your Friends & Neighbors) Nestor Carbonell (Shōgun), Aaron Pierre (Rebel Ridge), Boyd Holbrook (A Complete Unknown), Jeremy Irons (House of Gucci) Billy Crudup (After the Wedding), and Karen Pittman (And Just Like That).

Apple TV+ premieres The Morning Show on September 17. You can check out the teaser trailer above.
