It’s official: Peter Parker’s newest threads are turning heads. Following a teaser yesterday, Tom Holland took to social media today to give fans a full look at his brand new Spider-Man suit — and the response has been pure web-slinging euphoria. The fresh design, crafted for Marvel Studios’ upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day, combines classic elements with modern updates, and fans have wasted no time showering it with superlatives.
One Redditor gushed, “The suit looks fantastic.” Another added, “One could say it looks spectacular,” while others chimed in with comments like “Superior,” “Ultimate,” “Sensational,” and — perhaps the most fitting — “Amazing.”
Some fans pointed out its similarities to previous versions, calling it “the final swing suit meets the TASM 2 suit,” referencing The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Others praised the deeper blue hue, the raised webbing, and the enlarged spider logo. “It honestly feels as if Peter 1 was influenced by Peter 2 and Peter 3 and I am all for it,” wrote one excited viewer, referencing Holland’s multiversal predecessors in No Way Home.
What Do We Know About ‘Brand New Day’?
The new suit — which fans are already declaring the best live-action Spidey costume yet — signals more than just a design overhaul. It’s a statement of tone. Brand New Day, directed by Shang-Chi’s Destin Daniel Cretton, is the second entry in the MCU’s Phase 6 following Fantastic Four: First Steps, and it’s shaping up to be Peter Parker’s darkest, most personal chapter yet.
Filming is currently underway in Glasgow (doubling for New York City), and early set photos have sparked major speculation. One image showed an armored truck stamped with the red demon logo of the Inner Demons — a gang from Insomniac’s Spider-Man game led by Mister Negative. That has fans convinced that Martin Li is set to make his live-action debut as the film’s central villain.
But the shadows don’t stop there. Word is Brand New Day will also introduce smaller, street-level threats — including a few D-list villains in the margins — nodding to Peter’s solo roots post-No Way Home. The tone teased by Marvel’s recent promo suggests a lonely hero, stripped of his support system, navigating a city full of danger with no backup.
The movie also stars Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Sadie Sink, Jon Bernthal, Michael Mando and Mark Ruffalo, reprising his role as Bruce Banner/The Hulk in another Avengers team up for Holland.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day hits theaters July 31, 2026.
