‘Percy Jackson’ Season 3 Adds Dafne Keen & Saara Chaudry!!

As production on Percy Jackson Season 3 kicks into high gear, the show has just announced several big-time casting additions. The official Percy Jackson series X account revealed that Dafne Keen, best known for her roles in Deadpool & Wolverine and The Acolyte, has joined the cast of Percy Jackson and The Olympians Season 3 as Artemis. Additionally, the show has also found its Zoë Nightshade in Saara Chaudry, who recently starred as Bonnie in Mistletoe Murders. Percy Jackson & The Olympians Season 2 will premiere on Disney+ later this year on December 10.

After Logan Lerman starred as the son of Poseidon in two films in the early 2010s, the role of Percy Jackson now belongs to Walker Scobell, who is best known for starring opposite Ryan Reynolds in The Adam Project. Featuring alongside Scobell is Leah Sava’ Jeffries, who has teamed up with Idris Elba in the past for Beast. The last member of the famed Percy Jackson trio is Grocer Underwood, who is portrayed by Aryan Simhadri. Simhadri can be seen as Jai in Freakier Friday, which is now playing in theaters everywhere. Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3 is still lacking an official release date, and that information likely won’t be announced until later in the year, or even early next year.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians is based on the series of novels written by Rick Riordan, who is also heavily involved with the creation of the Disney+ series. The first season adapted the first book, The Lightning Thief, and the second season will adapt The Sea of Monsters. Season 3 will adapt The Titan’s Curse. It’s unclear how many seasons of Percy Jackson we’ll get before the cast gets too old to continue playing the characters.

Walker Scobell Has Two Big Projects in the Works

In addition to his ongoing role in Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Walker Scobell has also been tapped to star alongside Jason Sudeikis and Danny McBride in The Angry Birds Movie 3, which has already been set for release on January 29, 2027. Before that hits theaters, he’ll also be seen starring opposite Michael Douglas in Looking Through Water, which is coming out on September 5. This will be Douglas’s first movie role since Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.

Percy Jackson Season 3 is now in production ahead of Season 2’s December 10 release date.
