‘Tulsa King’ Season 3 Trailer Sees Stallone & Jackson Ignite a Turf War!! Check It Out!!

Paramount+ has released the official trailer for Season 3 of Taylor Sheridan‘s Tulsa King, the hit crime drama starring Sylvester Stallone as mob boss Dwight “The General” Manfredi. The new season premieres Sunday, September 21, 2025, exclusively on Paramount+. The footage teases Dwight’s growing empire — and the dangerous new enemies it attracts. This time, he faces the Dunmires, a wealthy old-money Tulsa family with power and influence that dwarf anything he’s gone up against before. As the trailer makes clear, the stakes have never been higher for Dwight or his crew, with both his criminal operations and his family in the crosshairs.

Since its debut, Tulsa King has been one of Paramount+’s crown jewels. Season 2 became the platform’s most-watched global premiere ever, pulling in 21.1 million viewers for its opening episode. Across its run, the second season generated 159 million views and 6.1 million social media engagements, cementing its place as the #1 global Paramount+ original of 2024 and a Top 10 streaming original overall.

The series is produced by Paramount Television Studios and 101 Studios, with Taylor Sheridan and Stallone among the executive producers. Dave Erickson serves as showrunner.

Alongside Stallone, the Season 3 ensemble includes Martin Starr, Jay Will, Annabella Sciorra, Neal McDonough, Robert Patrick, Beau Knapp, Bella Heathcote, Chris Caldovino, McKenna Quigley Harrington, Kevin Pollak, Vincent Piazza, Frank Grillo, Michael Beach, James Russo, Garrett Hedlund, and Dana Delany. The biggest new addition, though, is Oscar nominee Samuel L. Jackson as Russell Lee Washington Jr. His character debuts in Season 3 before leading the newly greenlit spin-off NOLA King, which shifts the action from Tulsa to New Orleans.

What’s Next for ‘Tulsa King’?

At FanX’s Atlanta Comic Convention recently, Collider’s Maggie Lovitt hosted a panel with Hedlund and Grillo, who teased how Jackson’s Tulsa King appearance connects to the spinoff. Grillo noted that a crossover between Stallone’s Dwight and Jackson’s Russell seems almost inevitable:

“You know, I think there could be, depending on how our season pans out, but for those two (Sylvester Stallone and Jackson) especially, I think it would be silly if there wasn’t some kind of crossover for two, three, four episodes. And Sam is in our show, it’s on Instagram, it’s not giving anything away.”

Hedlund echoed the sentiment, praising Jackson as a legend who brings undeniable star power to the universe: “All I want to say is Sam is a wonderful guy. He’s amazing. He’s been in every movie in the history of movies, he’s been in 9000 movies. He’s just one of these guys that are great actors, and they’re consistent in their careers, decade after decade. And then they become these iconic artists, and Sam’s one of them. There’s an Instagram post introducing Sam to the world of Tulsa King, and it’s a photo of these two giants of acting. They’d be crazy not to do it.

Both Seasons 1 and 2 of Tulsa King are now streaming exclusively on Paramount+. Season 3 premieres September 21, 2025.
