‘Landman’ Season 2 Trailer Sees Billy Bob Thornton & Demi Moore Clashing!! Check It Out!!

The new trailer for the second season of Taylor Sheridan’s Landman is here ahead of the show’s November 16 release date. Paramount has been ramping up promotion for Landman Season 2 in recent weeks, consistently debuting new images from the highly anticipated second season of Sheridan’s neo-Western Yellowstone replacement. The most recent images showed co-stars Ali Larter and Michelle Randolph’s return as Angela and Ainsley Norris, who are unmatched at being a thorn in Tommy’s side. Early images have also shown the first look at Sam Elliot in Landman, who will portray Tommy’s father.

Landman Season 1 follows Tommy Norris as he manages the oil rigs in the West Texas oil fields. The show earned widespread acclaim due to Billy Bob Thornton’s commanding performance as Tommy, along with other stars like Jon Hamm and Demi Moore starring as Monty and Cami Miller. Fans were stunned near the end of Season 2 when Monty met his end due to a bad heart, but the silver lining is that this leaves room for more of Demi Moore’s Cami Miller in Season 2. She’s expected to partially step into Monty’s shoes and resume his duties, with help from Tommy.

It’s still early, but many Landman fans are confident that the series has a chance to become the next big thing for Sheridan, who wrapped up Yellowstone just last year. Landman still has plenty of work to do to be considered on the same level as Kevin Costner’s hit Western, though. The series needs, at the very least, a few more seasons and some offshoots to boot. However, recent comments from Billy Bob Thornton confirm that the first of those spin-offs could be coming sooner than expected.

Paramount has even confirmed that a third season of Lioness is on the way.
