‘Avengers: Secret Wars’: Sadie Sink’s Mysterious ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ Character Will Reportedly Return in MCU Event Film!!

Just when we are about to finally receive answers about Max in Stranger Things, more Sadie Sink mystery arrives. For months, there has been plenty of speculation about Sink‘s involvement in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, with the young star joining Tom Holland, who is reprising his role as Peter Parker for the fourth time in a solo film. Theories are flying around the MCU fanbase, with plenty of suggestions that she might be about to portray Jean Grey, or perhaps an entirely new creation. Whatever that answer may be, it seems we’ve now had confirmation that Sink is also set to join Avengers: Secret Wars.

In a recent report, hidden among talk of her upcoming London West End debut, was the following quote: “There has been much speculation about the role Sink has in the Spidey film, and frankly, I do not know the answer, but I do know that she’ll join the cast of the next Avengers picture that shoots here in London later in 2026.” Should Sink be playing a character close to Holland‘s Spidey, perhaps this suggests he is to be involved in the Avengers project too. Although this feels like an answer, it likely raises more questions than it solves. Either way, Sink‘s involvement in an already stacked cast is great news for her many adoring fans, although we should likely wait for official Marvel confirmation before getting too excited.

Although the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday was once scheduled to be released first, a change in schedule means Brand New Day is our next and last stop before possibly the biggest MCU event yet. With Holland’s Peter Parker usually at his best when paired with an Avenger, recent photos showcasing Mark Ruffalo on set sent the fandom into frenzy, as Hulk joins Jon Bernthal’s Punisher in his first big-screen MCU appearance, and Michael Mando reprising his role as Scorpion from Homecoming. Add Liza Colón-Zayas and Tramell Tillman, both in undisclosed roles, to that list, and an exciting summer blockbuster packed with stars awaits.
