What’s coming to HBO Max in 2026? As per a new teaser from the streamer, a hell of a lot, from much-anticipated new seasons of hit shows like “Euphoria” and “House Of The Dragon” to brand new ones with star-studded casts, like “DTF St. Louis,” “Rooster,” and more. That’s quite a lot of new content; so, let’s break it down, shall we?
All told, the two-minute trailer below offers first looks at fifteen different series premiering on HBO Max next year. And while some of the glimpses at shows here, like “Lanterns,” for instance, are no more than a couple of seconds in length, that should be more than enough to sow intrigue in subscribers. So which shows get the biggest sneak peeks? That would be “The Pitt” Season 2 and “Industry” Season 4, which makes sense, given that both premiere next month. There’s a healthy dose of new “Game Of Thrones” prequel “A Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight” here, too; another January 2026 premiere.
A bunch of all-new original series also get the spotlight, like the aforementioned “DTF St. Louis,” which stars David Harbour and Jason Bateman, “The Comeback,” starring Lisa Kudrow, and “Rooster,” with Steve Carrell. Then there are brief looks at the new untitled Larry David series, co-starring Jerry Seinfeld, “Half Man,” a crime drama starring Jamie Bell, and “War,” a legal drama starring Dominic West and Sienna Miller. None of these have official release dates yet, but expect official trailer for each of these shows soon. There’s also the upcoming doc “Mel Brooks: The 99-Year-Old Man,” but that’s currently without an official release date, too.
The crown jewel when it comes to new footage in this trailer? Probably the looks at “Euphoria” S3, with Zendaya‘s Rue looking like she’s found a new batch of trouble south of the border in Mexico. Brief looks at Jacob Elordi‘s Nate and Alexa Demi‘s Maddy also hint at what to expect in the new episodes, premiering next Spring. Other brief clips for returning shows include “Dune: Prophecy” and “The Gilded Age,” for their second and fourth seasons, respectively, as well as “House Of The Dragon” Season 3.
The new teaser wraps with a tiny glimpse at the new DC Studios series “Lanterns,” starring Kyle Chandler and Aaron Pierre. Again, the glimpses at the show don’t provide explicit plot details so much as a general ambience. In this case, it looks like the series will be a mix of a road trip and a gritty detective story, with the barren Nebraska landscape as a backdrop. Like many of the shows seen in the teaser, “Lanterns” lacks an official release date, but it should drop on HBO Max sometime next summer.
