‘Fast X: Part 2’: Vin Diesel Shocking Reveals That Football Star Cristiano Ronaldo Has a Role!!

Another cast member has been confirmed to join the Fast & Furious family, and it’s a professional football player. Vin Diesel has revealed that Portuguese football star Cristiano Ronaldo will be entering this car-driven action franchise in an undisclosed role, marking the football star’s acting debut. It’s currently unknown how prominent his role will be in this upcoming feature. The news was made on Diesel’s official Instagram account, revealing that he “wrote a role for him” in the upcoming film Fast X: Part 2.

Details for this role have yet to be revealed, so it’s unclear whether he will be part of Dominic Toretto’s crew. Ronaldo played football throughout his childhood and then later began his professional career at age 17 in 2002. He currently plays for Al-Nassr Football Club and, according to The Guardian, signed a new two-year deal in June, extending his contract to 2027, while also playing for Portugal’s National Football Team. While Ronaldo has never had any acting experience, two documentaries based on his story were released in 2014 and 2015.

Fast X: Part 2 is the 12th installment of the Fast & Furious franchise, and plot details remain under wraps. However, it was teased that the film could return to its street-racing roots. In 2024, Diesel confirmed that Fast X: Part 2 will be the last installment of the franchise, after over two decades since the first film was released. Recently, it was reported that Diesel debunked rumors of the film’s cancellation and teased that production for this feature would begin sometime before the end of the year.
