‘Imperfect Women’: First Image Previews Apple TV’s New Thriller Adaptation!! Check It Out!!

Bonds will be tested and pushed to the limit in the upcoming Apple TV series Imperfect Women, which debuted its first-look image today. Hailing from Annie Weisman (Based on a True Story), the psychological thriller will send its characters into a push-pull dynamic in a project torn from the pages of Araminta Hall’s novel of the same name. Starring Elisabeth Moss (The Handmaid’s Tale), Kerry Washington (Scandal) and Kate Mara (House of Cards), the eight-episode production promises to keep audiences on their toes and guessing until the very end. Slated for a very special two-episode premiere on March 18, new installments will drop on the streamer every Wednesday until the Season 1 finale on April 29.

At the center of Imperfect Women are, well, three imperfect women. The trio, played by Moss, Washington, and Mara, have been friends for multiple decades, with their relationships put to the test time and time again. But, after a crime rocks them to their core, they’re forced to reckon with the truth about their bond and what that means for them going forward. As per the title’s logline, “The unconventional thriller explores guilt and retribution, love and betrayal, and the compromises we make that alter our lives irrevocably.”

In the debut image, viewers see the three main characters during one of the more joyous moments of their friendship. Dressed for a night out on the town, they stand around a table, cheersing their champagne flutes with nothing but smiles on their faces. Also on the table are three empty shot glasses, pointing to a night of celebration for the longtime friends.

Filling out the ensemble cast behind your newest thriller obsession is a lineup that includes Joel Kinnaman (Suicide Squad), Corey Stoll (House of Cards), Leslie Odom Jr. (The Exorcist: Believer), Audrey Zahn (She Dances), Jill Wagner (Special Ops: Lioness), Sheryl Lee Ralph (Abbott Elementary), Rome Flynn (Raising Dion), Violette Linnz (Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty), Jackson Kelly (The Pitt), Wilson Bethel (All Rise), Keith Carradine (The Duelists), Indiana Elle (The Housemaid) and Ana Ortiz (Whiskey Cavalier).
