
AMC Networks has released a new teaser trailer for Dark Winds Season 4, the upcoming new chapter of the mystery thriller show. It is scheduled to make its return on Sunday, February 15, 2026, exclusively on AMC and AMC+.
“Season 4 focuses on the search for a missing Navajo girl, which takes Leaphorn, Chee, and Manuelito from the safety of the Navajo Nation to the gritty terrain of 1970s Los Angeles in a race against the clock to save her from an obsessive killer with ties to organized crime,” reads the show’s new synopsis.

What happens in the Dark Winds Season 4 teaser trailer?
The video highlights the Navajo Tribal Police’s newest case, which brings the team to Los Angeles in search of a missing girl. It teases the possible consequences that might happen if they fail to save her in time. The trailer also offers a glimpse of some of the new season’s thrilling sequences. The show stars Zahn McClarnon (Westworld, Echo) as Joe Leaphorn, Kiowa Gordon (Roswell, New Mexico) as Jim Chee, Jessica Matten (Rez Ball) as Bernadette, and Deanna Allison (Accused) as Emma.
Dark Winds is created and executive produced by Graham Roland based on Tony Hillerman’s Leaphorn & Chee novel series. Season 4 will also introduce new characters portrayed by Franka Potente (The Bridge), Isabel DeRoy-Olson (Three Pines), Chaske Spencer (The English), Luke Barnett (For All Mankind), and Titus Welliver (Bosch: Legacy). McClarnon is also executive producing along with George R.R. Martin, Robert Redford, Anne Hillerman, Chris Eyre, Vince Gerardis, and Tina Elmo. Since its debut in 2022, the show has maintained its perfect rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
