FX has released the official teaser trailer for The Beauty, Ryan Murphy‘s new TV show starring Ashton Kutcher and Evan Peters.

“In FX’s The Beauty, the world of high fashion turns dark when international supermodels begin dying in gruesome and mysterious ways,” the official synopsis reads. “The Beauty is a global thriller that asks: What would you sacrifice for perfection?”

What happens in The Beauty teaser trailer?

“Imagine a revolutionary new super-drug that makes any old face drop dead gorgeous, and everybody wants it,” a voiceover states in the teaser trailer.

The Beauty’s cast features Kutcher, Peters, Anthony Ramos, Jeremy Pope, and Rebecca Hall. Isabella Rossellini appears in a recurring role. Guest stars include Amelia Gray Hamlin, Ari Graynor, Bella Hadid, Ben Platt, Billy Eichner, Isabella Rossellini, Jaquel Spivey, Jessica Alexander, Jon Jon Briones, John Carroll Lynch, Julie Halston, Lux Pascal, Meghan Trainor, Nicola Peltz Beckham, Peter Gallagher, Vincent D’Onofrio, and Rob Yang.

The teaser trailer introduces the characters after the drug. The list includes The Corporation (Kutcher), the billionaire who engineered the drug known as the Beauty; The Feds (Peters and Hall), two undercover FBI agents sent to Paris to “uncover the truth”; The Assassin (Ramos), a lethal killer hired by The Corporation to protect the drug empire; The Outsider (Pope), “a psycho incel with a thirst for kink”; and The Supermodel (Hadid), “a fevered bombshell ready to explode.”

Murphy and Matt Hodgson created The Beauty, based on the comic book series written by Jeremy Haun and Jason A. Hurley. Executive producers include Murphy, Hodgson, Peters, Ramos, Pope, Haun, Eric Kovtun, Scott Robertson, Nissa Diederich, Michael Uppendahl, Alexis Martin Woodall, Eric Gitter, and Peter Schwerin.
