‘Enola Holmes 3’: First Image Previews the New Millie Bobby Brown led Installment!! Check It Out!!

Missing Millie Bobby Brown‘s presence on your screen? Never fear, Netflix once again has you covered. In addition to the streaming service breaking Stranger Things, Brown also stars in Netflix‘s Enola Holmes franchise. Brown plays the titular character, Enola Holmes the kid sister to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle‘s Sherlock Holmes, played by Henry Cavill in the franchise. The first movie sends her on a quest to find her mother, played by Helena Bonham Carter, and the sequel finds Enola taking on one of her first real detective cases, trying to locate a missing girl. The third installment is directed by Philip Barantini (Adolescence.) Jack Thorne returns to write the script for the threequel, after penning the first two movies. The films are based on The Enola Holmes Mysteries by Nancy Springer.

In the new movie, Enola, of course, takes on another case, but now, as the image released by Netflix today would imply, there’s also going to be a big development between her character and Tewkesbury, played by Louis Partridge. While he’s not holding a ring, he is down on one knee, presenting Enola with a flower. The shocked look on her face might indicate that regardless of the presence of jewelry, this may be a marriage proposal. Netflix explains Enola Holmes 3 as:

“The latest installment in the adventures of the young detective sees her tackling another mystery, this time on the island nation of Malta. You’ll have to wait and see what brings her there — but once she’s arrived, Enola is flung into a nest of vipers. As the private detective juggles a new case and the next stages of her relationship with Tewkesbury (Louis Partridge), the game is truly afoot.”

Who Is Returning for ‘Enola Holmes 3?’

Of course, Millie Bobby Brown returns as Enola Holmes, Louis Partridge (Disclaimer, Pan) returns as Tewkesbury, Himesh Patel (Yesterday, The Assessment) returns as Dr. John Watson, Henry Cavill (Mission: Impossible – Fallout, Man of Steel) returns as Sherlock Holmes, Helena Bonham Carter (The Crown, the Harry Potter series) as Eudoria Holmes and Sharon Duncan-Brewster (Dune) is Moriarty. Fans barely got a glimpse of Patel‘s Dr. John Watson and so, with both of them returning, there will hopefully be more of Holmes and Watson for them to sink their teeth into.
