‘Superman & Spider-Man’ Set for New Epic Comic Crossover!!

Superman and Spider-Man are getting a crossover from Marvel and DC.

Following the huge success of the Deadpool/Batman crossover that came out last year, Marvel Comics and DC Comics have announced plans to have two more iconic superheroes unite in two new one-shots: Spider-Man and Superman. Both Marvel and DC will publish their own issue, with DC’s arriving in March and Marvel’s in April.

What else do we know about the Spider-Man & Superman crossover?

Per Marvel Comics, Spider-Man/Superman #1 arrives on April 15, 2026. The main story is written by Brad Meltzer and illustrated by Pepe Larraz, though there will also be a handful of other stories featuring more DC and Marvel crossovers.

Spider-Man/Superman #1 will see Clark Kent and Peter Parker pitted against Lex Luthor and Norman Osborn/Green Goblin. The story will see the heroes’ “greatest villains exploit some of their greatest weaknesses.”

Spider-Man Noir and the Golden Age Superman will have a 1930s-set crossover in a story by Dan Slott and Marcos Martin, while Geoff Johns and Gary Frank have crafted a story that sees the Superman and Spider-Man families team up to face Mysterio. Jane Foster/Thor and Wonder Woman will fight symbiote hordes in a story by Jason Aaron and Russell Dauterman, and John Henry Irons/Steel and Hobgoblin will clash in a tale by Louise Simonson and Todd Nauck.

Additionally, Gwen Stacy and Lana Lang are getting a crossover from Joe Kelly and Humberto Ramos, while Miles Morales and Superman will interact in an entry by Brian Michael Bendis and Sara Pichelli.

“I’ve been waiting fifty years to write this book,” Meltzer said. “Superman and Spider-Man have affected me more than most real people. I carry them with me everywhere — and our story cuts to the core of what it means to be a good person. I’m honored that Nick Lowe and everyone at Marvel even asked. Just wait until you see Pepe’s work. Get your capes and web-shooters ready…”

Marvel’s C.B. Cebulski added, “Everyone here at Marvel is excited to be re-teaming with our friends at DC for another colossal crossover, this time to celebrate the 50th anniversary of our two icons, Spider-Man and Superman, first teaming up! I can’t wait for fans of every generation to read these spectacular stories that our titanic talent are telling, featuring all-new, easily accessible stories about the ever-growing Spider-Man and Superman families meeting for the first time.”

Spider-Man/Superman #1 features cover art by Larraz and variants by Mark Bagley, Greg Capullo, Ryan Stegman, Peach Momoko, Ivan Talavera, E.M. Gist, Jerome Opeña, Marcos Martin, Adam Hughes, Russell Dauterman, Skottie Young, Erik Larsen, Frank Miller, Pichelli, Frank, Ramos, Walter Simonson, Kaare Andrews, David Marquez, and Sanford Greene.
