Things are moving quickly on the highly anticipated fourth season of The White Lotus, as yet another cast member has reportedly been found. News broke this afternoon that Chris Messina, best known for his role as Malinov in the Best Picture-winner, Argo, and for starring in The Mindy Project, has joined the cast of The White Lotus Season 4. Helena Bonham Carter was the first to join The White Lotus Season 4, and she was joined shortly after by Alexander Ludwig and AJ Michalka. Additional casting is likely to come in the next few weeks as the show gears up to begin production soon.
It’s also been confirmed that The White Lotus Season 4 will be set in France, but plot details are being kept under wraps. The show has seen plenty of big stars come and go during its first three seasons. The debut season of the hit series premiered in 2021, featuring stars such as Sydney Sweeney, Murray Bartlett, Alexandra Daddario, Jennifer Coolidge, Steve Zahn, and more. Coolidge was the only character to return in Season 2, but she was not in Season 3. The second season was led by Theo James, Aubrey Plaza, Michael Imperioli, Meghann Fahy, and more.
The White Lotus Season 3 picked up in Thailand with stars like Jason Isaacs and Patrick Schwarzenegger at the helm. Leslie Bibb, Carrie Coon, and Michelle Monaghan also star in the third season. The show was written and directed by Mike White, who has maintained full control over every episode thus far. He has expressed no plans for this to change moving into future seasons. It’s unclear at this time when The White Lotus Season 4 will be released.
