Invincible Season 4 has revealed its first three villains, including Thragg. Premiering this March on Amazon Prime Video, the new season will introduce major villains from the comics, raising the stakes for Mark Grayson.
Invincible Season 4 photos reveal Thragg and more villains
Based on the comic series by Robert Kirkman, Invincible will once again follow Mark Grayson, a young superhero still early in his crime-fighting career. Season 4 raises the stakes by introducing villains who challenge him both physically and morally. Prime Video’s first-look photos spotlight these villains while also teasing returning heroes.
Steven Yeun appears again as Mark Grayson/Invincible, joined by familiar faces like Atom Eve and Omni-Man. The most attention-grabbing reveal is Thragg, a long-teased figure in the Invincible universe. Alongside him, Dinosaurus and Universa make their animated debuts, each bringing a distinct kind of threat to Earth.
Thragg, known as a Grand Regent of the Viltrumite army, is one of the strongest warriors in all the galaxy. Following Omni-Man’s failure to conquer Earth, this warlord is now determined to bring the planet to its knees. Lee Pace will provide the voice for this long-teased antagonist.
Another major addition is Dinosaurus, a fan-favorite from the comics. The villain, once a human scientist named David Anders, can transform into a massive, red-skinned dinosaur. He targets causes he believes will advance human evolution, often through eco-terrorism. Dinosaurus’ ideology brings him into direct conflict with Mark Grayson, and his clashes with Invincible are already confirmed in Season 4. The character will be voiced by Matthew Rhys.
Rounding out the villain trio is Universa, who will appear in the series for the first time. Voiced by Danai Gurira, Universa is an extraterrestrial warrior who comes to Earth to harvest energy in an effort to save her own planet. While her mission has a noble core, her destructive methods quickly put her at odds with Earth’s heroes.
With these new enemies confirmed, Invincible Season 4 looks set to test Mark Grayson like never before when it premieres on Prime Video this March.
