Marvel Studios has finally released the first official trailer for Daredevil: Born Again Season 2. This comes on the same day that the studio will release its first Disney+ series of the year, Wonder Man, starring Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Ben Kingsley. It was previously thought that Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 would be released on March 4, but the new trailer confirms that the official release date is now March 24. New episodes of Daredevil: Born Again will be released weekly, like Season 1, until the Season 2 finale airs on May 12. The show has already been renewed for Season 3.
The new Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 trailer picks up with Matt (Charlie Cox) enjoying some time with Karen (Deborah Ann Woll). It then confirms the return of Bullseye (Wilson Bethel) by showing Daredevil’s foe sitting down in a diner. It’s unclear if he was released from prison by someone like Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) or if he just escaped, but he will certainly be a problem for Matt going forward. The trailer also makes it clear that Fisk has completely consolidated power as New York City’s mayor, and he’s ruling with an iron fist.
The new Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 teaser trailer also confirms the return of Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones. This had been confirmed in the past, but we now have the first official footage of another Marvel Netflix veteran joining the action in Born Again Season 2. The trailer also shows off the first look at Scream veteran Matthew Lillard, who has joined the ensemble in what he calls “a small role.” Still, it’s exciting to see so much new talent for Marvel’s most anticipated show of 2026.
Is Jon Bernthal’s Punisher in ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Season 2?
While there is plenty to be excited about in the new Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 trailer, it’s hard not to notice the absence of Jon Bernthal. The Punisher played a vital role in the first season, but it seems he will be absent from the action in Season 2. However, Bernthal does have a Punisher special set to air on Disney+ sometime around the same time as Daredevil: Born Again Season 2. Bernthal will also be seen starring with Tom Holland and Mark Ruffalo in Spider-Man: Brand New Day this summer on July 31.
