After taking a step away from the spotlight, Jonah Hill is officially on his way back to screens around the globe. Today, Apple has unveiled a first look at its upcoming project with the comedian and multi-hyphenate talent, with a fresh lineup of images from Hill’s dark comedy, Outcome. Along with serving as the project’s creator and director, Hill also stars in the feature-length production alongside a knock-out cast that includes Keanu Reeves, Cameron Diaz, and Matt Bomer in leading roles. Slated for a release to the streamer on April 10, the original film is just one of many new titles that audiences can expect to see added to the platform’s sprawling list of content in the upcoming year.

With Reeves starring as beloved Hollywood actor, Reef Hawk, Outcome follows the darkest days of the celebrity’s life after he’s taken to the bank thanks to a blackmailing scheme that threatens to derail the perfect career and world that he’s built for himself. With his two best friends, Kyle (Diaz) and Xander (Bomer), as well as his crisis lawyer, Ira (Hill), by his side, Reef sets out on a mission to uncover the true identity of his extortionist by killing them with kindness. Through his apology tour, he hopes that correcting the wrongs of his past will expose the person now trying to ruin his life, thus restoring his karmic balance.

Our first look images from Apple’s upcoming dark comedy capture the hopeful quest at the center of Outcome, with Reeves’ Reef taking front and center in most of the shots. Drenched with sun-kissed tones, Reef and his two besties (Diaz, Bomer) share a heart-to-heart chat in one image, while another sees the Hollywood leading man and his trusted attorney (Hill) chatting on the studio lot.

Who Is Behind ‘Outcome’?

In addition to the leading quartet of Outcome is a cast list overflowing with top-tier names that include celebrated director, Martin Scorsese, as well as Laverne Cox (Orange Is the New Black), Kaia Gerber (Bottoms), Roy Wood Jr. (The Daily Show), Susan Lucci (All My Children), David Spade (The Emperor’s New Groove), Atsuko Okatsuka (Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse), Ivy Wolk (Anora), and others. In addition to starring and directing, Hill also co-penned the movie’s screenplay alongside Ezra Woods, and also produces with Matt Dines and Ali Goodwin under their Strong Baby banner. Adam Merims joins as executive producer.
